Display computers can be addressed by IP or by name. Whenever possible one should use name, as it provides a better structure and makes display handling easier.
However, beware that an external control system cannot retrieve the internal WATCHOUT name/cluster and needs an IP address to communicate with the WATCHOUT system. In these cases, setting a fixed IP is highly recommended.
