When booting up a WATCHPAX connected to your network, the following error message appears "There was a problem starting ndfapi.dll. The specified module could not be found".
Problem description:
- WATCHPAX won't start WATCHOUT on boot up.
- Error message displays.
- Replacing with new unit does not help.
Solution:
ndfapi.dll refers to WINDOWS Network Diagnostic Framework Client API which indicates that something might be wrong in your network setup. Static IP-addresses set from a router might cause this. Disabling this and using DHCP to automatically acquire IP-address will make this error disappear.
